I guess I only update this thing when I can't sleep. Lucky you (har har). This weekend (the real weekend, not my days off weekend) was the worst. I felt majorly depressed. This has happened often in the last few months and I have missed some work because of it. I feel like I am skating on thin ice with the payroll department at work due to the time ( Read more... )

I too can't sleep! and I miss reading your entries, so this worked out perfectly.

I totes understand the job frustration. I didn't realize till I was out just how much angst and anxiety it brought me, and now I'm dreading going back to it. I don't think law enforcement is what I want to do forever... unless it's in a super fun capacity like being a park ranger where you don't have to deal with people's shittiness as much.

Hotel Dusk is okay but sort of slow and boring so far. At least with the Ace Attorney games you jump right into the action...here it's like slow-scrolling text. I'm not that into it so far unfortunately.

Haha at you breaking into people's homes in Oblivion. I try to be good. Also it seems to be glitchy when it comes to committing felonies. I was watching Marc play his file, and he quietly lockpicked a door and went into a house, and while he was looting a guard just MAGICALLY appeared in front of him and arrested him. That's bullshit! It's like they fucking teleport right into homes you're committing crimes in.

I do hope the payroll department can show some human empathy, but as a previous comment said "Unfortunately a lot of workplaces aren't sympathetic to depression or other conditions."
Sunshine Cleaning is a film I've been thinking about seeing but I found Little Miss Sunshine to be an okay film. I'm rather content watching Amadeus on the film front. Plus, I envy your disneyland trip.

Sorry I didn't see your comment 'til just now! LJ didn't e-mail it to me.

Payroll can be tough but they have to play by the rules. If I don't have sick time to cover my absences, I have to get a doctor's note.

Sunshine Cleaning wasn't that great. It was a real bummer, actually, and not as humorous as it was promoted to be.

And Disneyland was great. :)
