A. Early morning; Action; Waking up
[Upon waking up, the first thing she notices is that this isn't her bed. Opening her eyes, it's clear that this isn't her bedroom either. Hell, it's probably not even her house. She's also pretty sure that she's not alone in this bed. Pushing aside her first instinct to just punch the person next to her until they stop moving she sits up, glancing over at the stranger. The person next to her is a man but not actually a stranger. That doesn't make this any less weird because why would he be in bed with her and why does he look older than she's used to and why-okay, instead of asking these questions to herself, wouldn't it be better to ask him? The logical way to do this, of course, is to pick up a pillow and smack the poor man over the head with it to wake him up]
Dick.
B. Late morning; Phone
[The first thing you'll hear when you pick up the phone is an irritated sigh]
This is ridiculous. One minute I'm in a big city and the next I'm in a small town where it's apparently the 1950s. On top of that, the only way to communicate is through phone calls that just bounce around at random. Lovely. [There's another sigh, though this one doesn't have quite the same amount of annoyance behind it]
It could be worse. Being trapped in the 50s and married without my consent isn't really my idea of the perfect morning but there are still plenty of ways this could be worse. On that note, if I could get an actual explanation of what's going on here that would be helpful.
C. Afternoon; Action at 630 Topper Street
[Anyone who happens to be on Topper Street will find Barbara pretty easily. She's sitting on the front steps of her house, just watching the people outside, noting how some of them don't exactly act...normal. Or maybe the fact that they act too normal is what bothers her. Like they're not real people. God, this is creepy]
This is so weird.
D. Afternoon; Action at various locations around town
[So things have been explained to her but she still can't really wrap her head around it. Things like this don't happen to her every day, after all. Sure, some weird things have happened to her in her life but this is a special kind of annoying. To be in a situation that she has no control over and that she doesn't even really understand presses her buttons in the worst kind of way. It's strange, confusing and even vaguely annoying. Not to mention awkward considering who she ended up with for a husband. But none of that is really important. She needs to get some kind of grasp on what she's dealing with, which she's doing by leaving the house and exploring the town she's suddenly trapped in. Anyone care to approach and bug her?]
