I don't know if you're familiar with it, but I was picturing the roast chickens from Max und Moritz' second prank when I wrote that line. (Only on a spit, of course.)
😂😂😂😂😂 I absolutely love this chapter! Definitely one of my favorites. I look forward to when you (eventually) post a new chapter. The pic by mywitch is awesome!
So, looking at LJ for the first time in weeks, and yours is the top post on my flist - not only am I treated to a charmingly sweet bit of art, I've also discovered a fic I've never read! (and I love bonding/marriagelaw/forced relationship fics!) Merry 25 Days of December to you!
Oh yes, this one is an awesome fic! The way Ginger fleshes out the canon characters is phenomenal, brings them to vivid life. And her OC's are stupendous. And then the vindictiveness of what happens to the parties involved, *whew* some of it made me laugh disturbingly loud, while some made me cringe in sympathetic pain.
There is a Lot going on in the subtext, and the sarcasm abounds! Really quite hilarious... just sayin'.
Thank you and welcome back! (You were missed. I was just thinking about you and your family the other day, wondering how you're doing. Lockdown complicates everything. (Also, this isn't flisted, so oblique responses are probably best... or y'know, post! 😉))
Wandpoint is silly long, so don't feel obliged to check it out. (It's sort of the Hogwarts serial I wished I'd had to read while I was stuck in hospital.) More about the journey than the goal, but then those are so often foregone conclusions anyway... (And if they aren't, I'm probably not reading them. lol)
I am familiar with Struwelpeter but he was never that popular over here and totally disappeard in children's literature after the war. I am not sure how the situation in the UK is though, since I remember an episode of a detective series in which Struwelpeter was a Leitmotiv for the killer.
