spring break is different in different places. i always went to catholic schools so it was always easter week, but here it's before easter. go figure.

yay for the pearl! yay for the oysters! lol i loooove oysters!

The schools here get a week on in Feb for mid-winter break and than another week off following Easter. Wonder who that will work when they go back later this fall???

My cousins hubby and my uncle make them on NY's eve. I've yet to get drunk enough to try them! They are just so slimy!!!

new england schools do that too. i'd enjoy that, specially now that they're older and we can go to more interesting places.

lol i wouldn't say slimy, more like wet and squishy. :p you should have them cut you off a tiny bit then douse it in sauce (ketchup & horseradish) and try it. it really is v. good.
