did you modify the set up of your journal?

are you using a client like semagic, or posting directly to the web?

posting directly to the web. after the warning i resized for a smaller font but when i clicked 'lj cut' it changed it. i wasn't sure if that just sthg that happens when you cut, so i thought it would come out smaller.

the d&c is for the polyps, i probably won't have to do anything about the fibroids for a long time. yeah i trust my dr, no problems on that front. i explained a bit more to pearl below...

thanks, *hugs*

Ginger, I'm curious why you had a D&C for fibroids. Were they bothering you? Or is the D&C b/c of the polyps. I'm not trying to criticize, but I'm just curious b/c I have fibroids too (found out last year) and my dr said I didn't have to do anything w/ them (same as you) unless they start bothering me, or I have pain during sex or I am bleeding a lot. I'm going to turn this into a question about me (sorry) but how did you know you had polyps? Were you having pain or did the dr find them unexpectedly ( ... )

Do you remember last year I sent a group pm out to some of the women on the board asking abt fibroids? Everyone answered and was so helpful- I'll never forget it. Well one funny response came from Ecce. She said once she was doing a medical history on someone and the lady said she had "fireballs in the universe." Ecce figured out what she meant was "fibroids in the uterus" omg I nearly peed in my pants!

the d&c is for the polyps. i went in for the spotting and he took 3 cultures, one from each side and the top of my uterus. the polyps were at the top. he felt the fibroids later and sent me for an ultrasound. mine aren't mobile, they're deep into the uterine wall, so the d&c will have no effect. he did say that there's no reason to do anything about them until i have symptoms.

thanks for the info about the pill, i'll ask about that. that's exactly the sort of thing i was looking for with my post... a new avenue to explore.

so was the tingliness due to the hypothyroidism? it's funny how often the thing we worry about most is what they worry about least. either way, i'm glad they figured out what was wrong. it takes them forever sometimes.

thanks again. *hugs*

Good luck tomorrow. I can't help you on the fibroids, unfortunately. Don't know much about them.
