This is awesome. Yay! Congrats!

Also, I love it when people begin stories with "once upon a time". I think it is the best way to begin stories.

:-D

I'm also reading J. The Hobbit because his reading level isn't high enough to read it himself and I thought he shouldn't miss out on such a good story. I think his favorite character is Gandalf. :-) He also keeps getting confused and calling the elves "women". I'm not really sure where that came from. I don't think he 100% understands everything I'm reading, because of his cognitive level, but he understands most of it--and I don't care who you are or whether you have a disability or not, nobody should go through life without reading some Tolkien. :-P His attention span is good for maybe 10-20 pages a day, 3 days a week, and we're 124 pages through it after starting it a couple weeks ago. I told him next we could do the whole LotR series, though I'll probably graduate from grad school and move on before we have time to finish all 3 books.

1/0 is a webcomic set on a bear.

This comic is very silly (in a good way!). I like how extremely self-referencing it is at the beginning (at least the first 5 or so strips--which is all I've read so far since I have to go to bed so I can get up at 6:30 and teach math tomorrow).

It's the most immersively self-referential comic I've ever read. The author is a major character and his struggles as an author to be fair to his characters is one of the most thoughtful meditations on Godliness I've ever read.

Also, Tailsteak set out to write exactly 1000 comics, he posted a comic every day without fail for three years and then at 1000 he ended it. It's beautifully structured.

I have actually written 1/0 fanfic, but it spoils the ending.
