kurt hummel/blaine anderson
kurt hummel is just shy of seventeen, fresh off his first year of glee club, and ready to spend yet another summer bumming around with the locals in the florida keys-- sunbathing and house-partying with his florida friends at his side and his lima friends on speed dial. but when a tiny, friendly, citrusy-tourist eye-candy of a boy keeps showing up around the pool, the beach, and running his rickety old bike into kurt's front hedge, kurt realizes his summer is about to get a lot more interesting. (semi-au scenario set in the summer between sophomore and junior year.)

firstly, nine million thank you's to janine/pinkkchocolate, who i babbled and plotted this to about five thousand times. this was probably the third or fourth on the idea list i'd had for the bang this year and she sat through ALL OF THEM. i consider myself loved. or maybe at least amusingly interesting enough to pay attention to.
and also lots of thanks to the awesome lady who drew art for this! emily/_afterism draws the prettiest of pretty art and i was both super excited to have her as my artist and super excited that the final product turned out so fabulous! all the love-- go say a thousand nice things to her about it!

as an added note, i made a soundtrack for this long, long ago with janine-- mostly because we love music a lot and also to get the mood right. i tend to view stories in movie form. this is one of those times. feel free to insert songs wherein you see fit, though if you'd like our express ideas on their use, you can also feel free to bug me about it!
