Fuck you, dude, you made me get all teary at work. ;_;
I called my parents in tears the day after they dropped me off at Cornell and begged them to send me my Snoopy because I couldn't sleep without him. I STILL can't sleep without him; I have to take him with me on trips and stuff. I've had him for ~28 years and yes, I am a child. :P
It made me cry too, but I love it. It was my biggest fear that my cat Cinderball would get lost - almost happened once but some really nice kid on the playground found her and gave her back to me.
I love your Snoopy! He's adorable. I brought a pink blanket to college (my "Aww") for the same reason - it was impossible to sleep without it. I made sure I kept it hidden at all times. And one summer my mom brought it up in front of her best friend's son, who I had a HUGE crush on, and I thought I would die, except that his mom was all "Keith has a blanket too!" and ran upstairs and brought back a tattered Winnie-the-Pooh blanket while he looked mortified. It was awesome.
