So I finally got around to watching the first two episodes of Heroman last night.
LOOK, HOWL AND MELLO HAD A LITTLE AMERICAN BASTARD!
His. name is Joey, if the subtitles didn't tell you.
So I went on thinking he was Howl and Mello's fault, but then...
CANADA IS THAT YOU-who?
I guess he wanted to prove Alfred wasn't the only hero in the world.
Heroman, if you haven't heard, is BONES and Stan Lee's(You read that correctly. As a superhero nerd I geeked out) lovechild.
It is basically set in California("Look, an alien! They must be shooting another movie!" "You're going to need a permit if you're going to shoot a movie here"). And someone on my Flist was saying this earlier(a few people were talking about Heroman, so I don't quite remember who...) but HOLY CRAP RED, WHITE, AND BLUE MUCH? It's like they go to AMERICA HIGH SCHOOL.
...when I saw the aliens my first thought was Adiane's Gunman in Gurren Lagann. Except it doesn't have eyeboobs and a crotchmouth.
So, I'm liking it so far. The...Americanness of it...is kind of odd, though XD
Planning to give the entire Miss Saigon soundtrack a listen to today. There's so many songs on Youtube now I haven't heard yet! <3333 They even put up some of the performances now, so I can watch the Engineer hump a car in "The American Dream" xD
Edit: About to watch the new Durarara!!, but just had to say I LOVE the new opening <3 Not as good as the first one, I must admit, but the first is on my list of FAVORITE OPENINGS OF ALL TIME so yeah.
New ending is okay. But nothing will ever live up to the old one. TRUST ME TRUST ME TRUST ME
