Alright, I was going to post this yesterday but I didn't have the time.

As many of you know, yesterday was Spirit Day/Purple Wednesday. People wore the color purple(which represents spirit on the LGBT flag) in response to recent suicides within the LGBT community.
Sappy rambling and a video under the cut )

I don't think I have a purple t-shirt but I wore purple pants. Though, I didn't make a big-to-do about it.

I think I saw some others at my Uni in purple.

I wore my purple hoodie and a purple bow =3
I was disappointed to find only a few people at my school doing it, though.
I signed up to the "it gets better" thing today. Inspiring project <3

I already posted this on Tumblr, but Spirit Day actually fell during Spirit Week for me, so we were all encouraged to wear purple (and pink to support breast cancer). My entire school was decked out in purple and pink outfits.

It was amazing.

Oh my god, you are so amazing and I am so proud of you. I'm glad your school and community is growing in such a positive direction and that you have such a heavy influence in it. It's people like you that consistently help me keep my faith in humanity and I hope I can be more like you someday. I LOVE YOU, HERMANITA! <3

A lot of people at my school found ways to incorporate purple into their outfits even though it was a dress-up day. It was a very inspiring day to see!

Ironically, someone was giving their speech in class and it was on the very issue we were supporting. It was not planned, but led to a rally for rights in that class and a lot of understanding.

Overall, I found it wonderful to see such support!
