How are you finding Shetlands? I went up there a few years ago. Stayed in Lerwick as well. Quite baron. If you can I'd recommend a little boat trip around the coast around Lerwick.

Finding it fine thanks. I have been up here a few times already so I am quite comfortable wandering round lerwick - which is about as far as I can get this time.

Working all day doesn't unfortunately give me much chance for sight seeing.

This is true. At least when you're working you're in the warm. Can be a bit nippy at this time of year.
