of stress, and God

You know what's got me perplexed? The fact that there are freshies that are on the verge of tears. I mean, really now. It can't really be that bad. If you feel like that this early in college, I don't wanna think of what you might do to yourself when you reach junior or senior year. @_ ( Read more... )

those freshies haven't developed the uber-cramming-and-multitasking skills that we have. haha! the stakes are higher for us but at least we'll only have to endure the pain (!!!!) for a shorter while. and hey, staying alive for 3 years should be something. they don't have that assurance yet--after all, it's only their first sem in ateneo.

poor kids, hope they get past it and not be part of the drop-out statistic :P

It happened to me once in the first sem of first year. Sir Acuna told us to submit an ARP in two days or risk getting an F in his subject. Eh he already told us that we don't need to submit one.

I guess I just felt betrayed. Hehe and that I didn't have any notes, sources (dapat Lib! bawal Net sa kanya eh.) or a good topic to write about. But I survived. Yay. :P

You and me both brotha! Never experienced that during freshie nor even sophomore year! Freshie year was like inuman for lunch, then gmik at night, and i still got good grades! Hmm... I tried that 2nd year and got ACAD proby! hahahaha... and now... hay nako... freshies shouldn't really stress about it not getting B's. Geez... There gonna fail one time or another! Its how you handle failure! Right now I got 6 Philo subjects and 1 Theo. All of them requiring Oral Exams for the finals. And I'm still like Hakuna Mutata Bia-otch! Hahaha...

Haha, my friend's sister sort of broke down and was really worried about Math after she missed the first hour of the final exam. I was thinking, "Get a grip, it's only one subject, and the worst that could happen is you'd be delayed a couple of sems," while she's thinking she'll be kicked out or something.

It may be brought about by some generation thing. Maybe it's just them. :)) Kasi I agree, I didn't know many people who broke down with stress sa 1st year (and I always think, hello, 1st year pa lang yan!), but then again, I guess that's not exactly representative of the whole student population -.-;

There are so many of them that you have to wonder if this batch is less tolerant to stress. o_O Hay~ They'll get used to it. XD
