This is amusing - I kept hearing about your trips into the city, K's rock climbing, food, etc, and figured this was The Honeymoon Period ;)

I'm going through something similar here. It's a social wasteland, even with the University here. As you know, academics are all climbing their own ladders and their lives dominated by their research or clinical work. Little time for branching out...

I was startled that you guys were moving on "so quickly", or without more pre-rumblings, since it reinforces to me how unsuccessful my PacNW search has been. But I will definitely employ you as recon scouts!
