This weekend was pretty laid back and nice. I finished up 2 paintings tonight after not painting for maybe a month or so. yes.. im obsessed with trees. Earlier today i messed around in the back yard, had a fire in the firepit and cleaned up the deck a little bit. Denmark's Isle of Aero Video
ive always loved travel shows, so now that ive been laid off ive been able to spend a good chunk of my time with my friends Samantha Brown, Rick Steves and Anthony Bourdain. 2 cocoons i have at my house.well i guess they are egg sacks, not cocoons, but anyway.. the top one i found 2 days ago after a windstorm. its about 2" long, im thinking its a mantis cocoon? i put it in a shrub so i can keep track of it. the second one is on the side of my house. its high up, so the pic sucks. the second one is an orb weaver egg ( Read more... ) -

i have had the strangest urges this week. ive been craving coffee like crazy. two days ago i woke up with the urge to buy a used guitar. i watched Stranger than Fiction after that because Harold Crick wanted to learn to play, but it didnt appease the urge or lead me in any certain direction. Dad, his gf and I went down to the mine today to get some fossils out of the rockwall. We got maybe 10 good pieces then we went and shot dads 22 some. I'm heading back to GA early tomorrow so I have time to nap before going out for new years.
