Just me? Okay.

And just to make t

I haven't followed the elections in Soviet Georgia, but I wouldn't put anything past Putin.

I am glad to see you still kicking. Me too. Retired now, and "taking it easy."

Hah! I spent 4 hours under the house this afternoon to replace the heat tape on my water pipes (mice chewed through the former one), and now my back is screaming at me. I covered most of it with hurricane wire / hardware cloth so they can't chew it again, but it got dark. Have to finish tomorrow. Hopefully they won't destroy the uncovered section in one night.

And yay for sweet kitties!

Yeah, I need to do that with some of my pipes. I initially only rescued one kitten, but then remembered how Flatbush Cats always said you must adopt kittens in pairs, so....

Don't get me started on plumbers. $2,000 just on plumbing alone. Sheesh.

Yeah, I always had two animals at a time - dogs and horses - and sometimes a cat joined the dogs. I'm not intrinsically a cat person, but if I found a poor baby that needed a home...

(And one squirmed her way through the doggie door. She wasn't big enough to actually push it open, but she was determined to be a house kitty.)

$2000? Ouch! But I hope it's fixed now, and you can quit worrying about whatever it was.

I've missed seeing you. Do you do social media anywhere else? If you don't want to put it here, could you send a DM or PM?

I'm cautiously getting back into it. Kind of a bad year for repairs. Broke a bone in my wrist, then broke my ankle. I iced it off and on for a day before I realized, "Hey, maybe it's not a sprain." I managed to achieve a career high as a clutz, because I tripped on birdseed. I re-oped my damned dream width, because Jesus Christ, there's too much stupid now.

And people are still reading you. :)
A lot of us have moved to Dreamwidth.
I'm aware of Georgia, but following Ukraine much more closely.

Well, Ruzzia skewed the Georgian elections by an insultingly obvious margins, and Putin has Elon's ear now...

Not sure if Putin has anyone's ear now. He's so far down the slope toward and accident falling out of a window that I'm not sure anyone of power takes him seriously.
Nice hearing from you. I've missed your posts.

I was just thinking about you lately.

I know Ruzzian TV has openly started some criticism, but while losing Syria badly weakened him, he still has control of the military. Assad will have an oh-so-tragic defenestration before Putin. Trump and Putin are so much alike, their regimes are all about sucking up to racists who want to maintain their artificial grip on power.
