Oooooh! Pretty Awesome Picture

Recently I've discovered that one of the greatest pleasures of being an author is discovering that your work has inspired someone else's creativity. Case in point, this very cool illustration of Javier and Kiram.

Heee! I just feel so happy and lucky!

And needless to say inspired myself to keep writing.

PSYCHIC POWERS em_nat June 29 2011, 09:04:48 UTC
Oh god, are you psychic? This artist *just* rolled through my dA site (literally, about 18 minutes ago), so I stopped by her gallery in return, saw her pic of Javier and Kiram and fangirled hard over it. It’s a small world after alllll…! (sings badly and with joyous abandon.)

I'm singing along with you! (perhaps even more badly and happily than you can imagine).

What a lovely artwork! It captures Javier's and Kiram's different origins perfectly. And it's absolutely wonderful that artists are able to inspire one another.
That reminds me: are you still thinking about which character you will concentrate on when you're going to write a third novel in the same world? Sorry for the nosiness, can't help myself ;-)

I'm pretty certain it will be Elezar. I've worked out a very rough outline, but there are a few parts I'm not quite satisfied with yet... Still working on it.

Yes, I thought it was quite sweet. (And so much better than the stick figures I've drawn for myself).

I do try to write books that are interesting on a second read-- I hope you enjoy them!

Your stories tend to be equally enjoyable on a third or fourth read as well. @,@
