Yes, indeed book ten--the last one--will be released on December 13th.

For those who feel like celebrations are in order--and I certainly do-- there are all kinds of fun events going on.

Thursday Dec. 8th, I'll be hanging around, answering questions, making jokes and drawing names for a PRIZE give away on the Desert Island Keepers blog.

Friday Dec 9th ( Read more... )

**peeks out from under the bed**

Book 10 is finally out? FINALLY?? I can now finally read The Rifter in its entirety?? **does happy dance of nekkidness and joy**

I'm one of those people who HATES HATES HATES cliffhangers and has to read something all in one go, so I was holding off even starting until the last book was out. (Which has an AMAZING cover BTW.) But now that it's finally released - BONZAI!! To the Kindle Cave!!

In all seriousness, congratulation on the Rifter's release finally being complete. I know you've worked hard on this, and I can't wait to finally read it.

Cheers,
Blue

I've ordered parts 1 to 9 of the Rifter from Amazon and am reading them on my kindle, but I can't find Book 10, His Holy Bones on Amazon. And I'm about to start Book 9, which means the situation will be critical within the next couple of days! The only e-reader I have is a kindle. Do you know if it will be available on Amazon soon?

Book ten can't be released anywhere but weightlessbooks.com until December--they have an exclusive year contract for each title. However come December (13?) book ten should be up on Amazon.

Last I checked you could also pick book 10 up at weightlessbooks.com; they give you multiple types of files all in one go, so that whatever reader you're using you'll have something suitable.

I hope that helps!

Thank you! I've spent the day obsessing about how I was going to get hold of His Holy Bones. I suspected it might be a situation where your publisher had rights. I was wondering if I could wait until December, but I really don't think I can.

Fortunately I learned from a fellow kindle owner today that I can buy the book from Weightless Books in MOBI format, which can be made compatible with Kindle. She's going to help me with that. Yay! I've gone ahead and ordered the book. I'm going to start reading the Iron Temple tonight at the gym. Love, love, love your Rifter books. They're worth every penny I've spent, and in fact I would have paid more.

Hoooray! I'm so pleased that it all got straightened out and that you don't have to wait.

I'm really glad that you're enjoying the books.

The Rifter meant a lot to me and was one of the hardest projects I ever took on. I'm so happy that the effort I put into it seems to be paying off for the readers!

It's clear to me that you put a hell of a lot of work into every aspect of the Rifter. It must have taken years! I'm deeply grateful to you for writing it. I predict with confidence that people will still be reading and enjoying this series a hundred years from now.
