I just got word from Nicole at Blind Eye Books that they're going to run a special pre-order sale on Lord of the White Hell, and I thought I ought to pass the information on... what with it earning me royalties and all that (heh).

Wow! Two books released into the wild so close together...Fantastik! Ever since I read the first chapters I've been wondering about this world and the characters.

Yeah , felt pretty strongly about the books coming out together-or as close as possible considering the printing process- because I myself get so frustrated waiting for the end of a series.

And in this case the two books were originally written as one novel, which was later broken into two for the sake of printing. I felt that gave even more reason to release them in the same year.

Fortunately, my editor,Nicole, went to bat for me on this and won! She's great that way.

So, there won't be a year long wait for the end of the story. Hopefully only a few weeks at most!

That's a pretty sweet deal! So, seems like if I take the 2-book deal, I'll get both of them in September? (which means I get book 1 a month late?)

You could take your mid off the wait by writing another of your cool books. That might take both our minds off the upcoming release.

Ginn, you're crazily active on your blog lately, I'm flabbergasted ;-).

I'd say that September is far, far away, but personal experience tought me that six months will pass in a heartbeat *sigh*.

I like the two-books deal! I'll pre-order them as soon as I can.

Yep, I'm storing up Livejournal interaction to get me through the long silence that is sure to come once I dive back into my next two projects.

It really does help me to remember that I'm not just writing these things-- the books, not the blog-- for myself, but for other people. That keeps me from just giving up and getting a job as a plumber... which is oddly appealing to me at times... don't ask why, you don't want to know-- I don't want to know... something to do with the great pants I get to wear-errr I've said too much already!

Congrats on the 2 book coming up. I've been waiting for another full length novel from you ever since Wicked Gentlemen came out, so this fills me with glee.

I haven't gotten an offer for the electronic rights, yet, but as a rule it all depends on the sales of the print books. If they sell like mad then an e-book may be forthcoming directly, if they go more slowly then it will be harder to generate interest from publishers.

I'm pretty sure e-books are the direction that publishing is going in general, so I'd bet on the books coming out in that format, I just don't have a firm date as to when that will happen.
