Which reminds me -- this weekend, after my finals grading was over, I found time to sit down to read Lord of the White Hell 1 & 2, which you signed for me at Yaoi-Con. I enjoyed them a lot; congratulations!

I need to sit down soon and review them over at my "official" blog. I'll drop you a line when I do....

I'm so happy that you enjoyed the books and that we met at yaoi-con. I'm always so excited when I get to meet people there, because all the attendees seem to be so fun, nice and energetic.

!!!

A Christmas miracle! I'm glad I checked back; almost caved in and forked out for international shipping at Amazon.com.

Can't wait to read it. ♥

Yes, the price is far less, for international orders. And the delivery is much much quicker!

I think releasing the book early was something the good folks at Blind Eye and Weightless just decided to do as a nice holiday surprise for everyone. Yeah, Happy Holidays!

I'm so pleased that you liked it!... I'm sorry that book two isn't out yet. But soon, very soon it will be on sale! I promise I will post as soon as it goes up.

finished book one; looking very much forward to already-amazon-ordered book two. i hope you have a great new year; you're fast becoming one of my favorite authors, and that's already a fairly vast list.

look, i'm not sure exactly how to say this other than by saying the following, so i'll just say it.

what you've written has already saved lives.

...i just wanted you to know that. please don't stop.

i'd offer a hug, but we're strangers, so i'll just settle for saying that i'd offer a hug. :)

[critical addendum: i realize (somewhat [dishonestly] belatedly) that that was massively heavy. i don't want to leave the comment as-is without making clear that i'm not at all importing to you any responsibility for the survival of others; i just wanted to express the above-stated fact, which is a real-life truth, but which is /really/ just a reflection of the fact that your medium of exchange is delight, to which the World Out There is responding, in ways you might otherwise not have discovered quite yet.

also, the comment was in (untimely) relation to Wicked Gentlemen, which was lent to a friend with immensely positive effect. the life-saving powers of the cadeleon books are speculated effects only, but having read one of two, i'd surely call it a safe bet.

still. oh, hell. can't say it without creating unfair pressure, can't /not/ say it and still thank you properly. ya know?]

...damn it.

*hug*

I understand and don't worry it's not extra pressure, so much as a reminder of what's best about sharing stories. While it can simply entertain a story can also offer another human being an escape and a safe place to dream.

Your comments make me feel quite proud to be the author that I am-- most of the time I'm much less confident, so really I should be thanking you. : )

I feel like I could write another three books! Right Now!!... Or at least write the outlines and get a chapter done!

Thank you!

Thank you. That's the best, most touching thing I think any one has told me. If you were here I'd be happy to get a hug!
Happy New Year!
Take care.

Congrats! Am finally (I feel like the world has been conspiring against me to find time to sit and savour) about to start the second book. I can't wait!

Oh, and Happy New Year and all the best for 2011!

I know just how you feel about the world conspiring against you...damn, sneaky world... But I'm glad that you gave it the slip. I hope you enjoy the book!

Happy New Year!

I am very much enjoying the book :) I'm about halfway through ATM but had to stop reading to quickly Google a particular character, who is really intriguing me. I found Kassa's review of Book II at jessewave's blog (http://www.reviewsbyjessewave.com/?p=28834) and had to race here and say that the character I was Googling was Elezar! He fairly leaps of the page and I definitely think he needs his own story :)

Right, back to reading :)

OOPS! Forgot to say in my earlier comment...I think Elezar is really developing in this book...as in maturing. I love how his relationship with Riossa is changing. I just wonder how he'll react to Kiram & Javier's relationship...

Just finished reading both of these and LOVED them! I read the first as an ebook and, even though the second one is coming out soon in that format, I couldn't wait and bought the hard copy.

Loved the characters, the world, the adorable adorable romance! Kiram made a great narrator and I couldn't help but love how hard Javier fell for him! And the larger group of Hellions was fantastic as well, great dynamics all around!

Was really interesting to see Kiram's family and his way of life in the second installment! Loved his sibs (I'm a sucker for cute family stuff, what can I say! ^_-)

Don't suppose there are any plans for a sequel? Would so love more with all these boys and this world! ^_^

First, thank you for your kind comments. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the books!

Second, yes there are plans--kinda-- for more books in the Cadeleonian world... I'm just not quite sure who to follow. If you have any thoughts on the subject I'd be thrilled to hear them.

Whee, more, yay!

Hmm, there's just so many options. I mean, I think I'd be sad if there wasn't at least some more with Kiram and Javier, they're both so awesome and simply adorable together and I'm curious to see where their adventuring takes them.

But then there's also Elezar, can't see him just sitting around. Also, unrequited love (even if he never quite realized that's what it was) makes me sad so clearly he needs to go and find a boy of his own...*cough* Err, or something ^_-

Also, I rather liked Kiram's brother Madji, little as we saw of him, would be curious to see more of him and his sea adventures.

Or y'know, all of the above. I bet there'd be a lot of paths crossing and such...

Whatever it is, I do look forward to it! And now I must go and finish Wicked Gentlemen as well! ^_^

So far in my rather informal poll Elezar seems to be well in the lead for another book. Though Majdi has more than a few fans on his side as well.
