Our house got caught in a fire around 2:00 am earlier this morning because the house behind us had faulty wiring or something... in short, it wasn't our fault that the to floor is damaged.
Those stupid firemen took about an hour to get to the spot (and to think that the station is only less than 10 blocks away!!! Arrgh...). The Filipino-Chinese Volunteer Firefighters were waaay more active and they were really dedicated to their work... and they got to the site faster (to think that their station is about 7 kilometers away). And our own station has some nerve to charge us for their "work". WTF?!? That's why we pay taxes!!! That's where their salary is supposed to come from.
I heart the Filipino-Chinese Volunteer Firefighters. They came, they fought fire, they went with nothing except what they brought (and maybe an emptier water tank).
(afterthought: it's Fire Prevention Month.)

It's the second day of periodical tests. I went to school wearing civilian clothes which earned a few questions during the morning. I didn't mind, really. But then when I got to the classroom, our proctor for the Physics test (Ms. Umali) asked me why I was wearing civilian clothes. I answered her. Then my classmates just had to press on with the questions. Some asked why I was wearing civilian clothes (apparently they were deaf) and others asked where I lived... then I just broke down in front of the whole class. I was excused from class and our proctor said that I could take the same test at another time. But then I wanted to get it over with and I realized that I was better off taking the test alone, so I just went to the High School Office... I got a room all to myself. :D
I was feeling hungry during recess and my uber rich adopted little sisters gave me some extra money. So I ate, then went up to 310 where Dominique, Ria, Kimi and Nick were. I told them everything and they offered me some places to stay. I swear my heart went squish.

So now all of you guys know our story. Our parents' room was totally burnt and they have no more clothes. At least three of my blouses for my uniform were there, and so was my gala uniform and my sister's cocktail dress that she was supposed to wear this Saturday. The phones of my dad, sister and brother are burnt as well. Everything else that wasn't damaged by the fire is undergoing water and smoke residue damage.
There. We need help.
