Back to School, Ring the Bell

Dec 25, 2005 19:28

I know what I said before... but I'm really not ready for school to start back up again. Ill get to see some friends I haven't seen before, but I mean, I wont' see my family or other people until at least Christmas, and that's no good. I'll worry about them too much . Wouldn't it be nice just to have a little bit more summer? Looking forward, of ( Read more... )

We'll miss you too, Ginny, but there's a chance you may see your father at least before Christmas. He might be called in to check on that new lab they set up. I've been told these computers can be tempermental.

I think it'll do you good to be back into a familiar routine. You've seemed a bit distracted lately, spending a bit too much time on your own with this muggle box. Maybe the wedding just wore you out like it did me, but mothers can't help but worry.

Well, I'm all nervous about the new teachers and Quidditch tryouts, and I think I may have gotten a bit fat over the summer so I hope no one notices...

Oh no, wait, I'm still trim and stunning, and won't be going back to that drafty castle with the rest of you losers. Looking forward to a year of freedom and private lessons with my favorite teacher. Learning lots already.

Sorry you couldn't find anyone to walk with you, Weasley. Guess no one likes you that much.

If your favorite teacher wasn't Snape and it didn't keep you from playing quidditch, I might almost be jealous. Pity.

Oh, what a tragedy that might have been had I tried to find someone to walk with and been unsuccessful. I'm relatively certain my afternoon would not have been nearly so nice had I not gone alone.

You had to bring up the Quidditch. Low blow. I'll just have to put together a game soon with my new friends. We've been having loads of fun.

Whatever floats your boat, Weasel girl. Personally I prefer a little company, and my company of the afternoon was quite pleasant.

Oh, I did have to. A necessary evil. You and Snape have fun with that - I'm sure he's really excellent on a broom.

My boat is floating just fine. That's funny, because I can't think of many pleasant people who would spend their afternoon with you. But I still think mine was better.

I'm very ready for school to start. It's so quiet at my house, I sometimes think I've gone deaf.

Ah well, if you got the bazillion reply e-mails, you know you've been missed. Hope you were able to enjoy your time in Boston.)
