Emily, I hear that you also got, er, um, had crabs from Joe's!

I am sooo psyched about C&TCF.

Always glad to cheer a friend. Update: John is on page 555 of 652. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was amusing, silly, twisted, very much a product of the mind of Tim Burton and a closer match to the book in some places. I am a big fan of the original film with Gene Wilder (a favorite of mine back in the day), and I would not begin to compare these two films in any way. They are similar only by virtue of being based on the same book. Crabs from Joe, yummy as always!

Getting crabs at Joe's is exactly the way they would want you to have said it! :) After all, it is one of the many suggestive slogans that the chain puts on its t-shirts.

It is a bit of a tourist trap, but this one is fairly far from the shore, so it is a nice place to get fairly decent seafood and not too pricey. And if you are in a festive mood, the beach party atmosphere is fun. Noisy, but fun.
