Summary: Willow and Fred have an argument about scientific theories.

“I’m just sayin’ Willow, there’s no evidence.”
Willow looked at Fred and shook her in head. The two women were standing in the empty lobby of the Hyperion Hotel.
“I didn’t think you could be so misguided Fred. There’s plenty of evidence.”
“Circumstantial only,” shot back Fred.
Willow shook her head. Sometimes Fred got a little confused.
“There’s as much proof of the string theory as your pet theory.”
Fred laughed. “No Willow, that’s impossible.”
”I used to say thing could be impossible until I found out vampires were real.”
“Vampires have no bearing on our current debate Willow!”
“Sure they do. They are an example of a thing which seemed impossible but has been proven to be true.”
“Not by the general populace,” stated Fred, “Most people still don’t know they are real.”
Willow shrugged. “I’m still right.”
“Well there is no proof.”
”Maybe I don’t need books full of evidence to know it’s the truth.”
“And maybe you should get your head out of the clods and come back to Earth!”
“You’re the one who’s way off track!” declared Fred.
Willow took Fred by the arms and the pair locked eyes. Willow was breathing hard and Fred had begun blushing. Without a word she kissed Fred. The world seemed to stop spinning and everything seemed clear. They came apart only to get some air. Then Fred looked at Willow.
“That was fantastic!”
“Don’t change the subject,” stated Willow.
“Oh, you’ve made your resolve face, guess I’d better back down,” teased Fred.
She kissed Willow softly and then looked at her.
“Nice try Fred, but I’m not going to forget our argument that easily.”
“How about we postpone it then?”
Willow shrugged. “What would we do instead?”
Fred laughed, and the sound made Willow smile. Fred was so good for her.
”I can agree to that,” said Willow.
She kissed Fred again, and swore to herself that she’d convince Fred to agree with her later.
