This. I really don't like winter, but spring wouldn't be the same without it.

They've been up for the last week or so, here. It's lovely... Spring always makes me so, so happy. I love seeing things grow and bloom and in a month or so, there will be flowers and colours and life everywhere. Also, the sun is wonderful and finally gaining some warmth.

For me, all seasons have their charms. Summer is the one I enjoy the least because I'm no good with the oppressive heat it brings. Gives me head aches and just generally makes me miserable. But, it brings vacation and festivals and such so I suppose it has its charms also.

I really don't mind winter at all either...But right now I'm done with the cold and thick sweaters and coats and most importantly, the lack of sun.

You are about two weeks or so ahead of us. We only got to above freezing this past week. Almost time to open up those windows for Spring cleaning...

Hmmm I think that works. Although I live near the sea so basically we don't have as much snow and ice and freezing cold as you probably do anyway.

Also, the Netherlands might be at about the same hight as New York, but because of the Mexican gulf stream we never get as cold as we should.
