I wonder what it was like to be there that chilly night. To be a speck in a crowd numbering in the thousands, there to celebrate as history unfolded before their very eyes. Bravo, Gino. You're back in the LJ game -- and in the arena you truly excel in.

I am confident that you'll be able to have that type of moment someday. It may not be at that scale (never say never though), but nevertheless it will be a humbling and awe-inspiring experience that will affirm your optimism and faith in the power of democracy and living out our individual responsibilities in serving others.
