Happy Turkey Day everyone.

So it FINALLY started snowing up here today. We had a 3 foot dump in October, but it all just melted off after 2 weeks of warm temps. Since then it's just been raining on the mountain. Oh... so I ripped through Harry Potter 7. I thought it was great. A good extension of book 6 story, yet Harry really comes into his own in this one. It's great. The only thing that I DIDN'T like was the Epilouge. A little too contrite of an ending for me. I enjoyed the end of the main storyline immensely... I thought it all fit well. Just ( Read more... )

So went and saw Transformers tonight because all of you said it was great. And it did kick ass. It was like every 13 year old boys' wet dream... fast cars, hot chicks, big explosions, fights, robots, guns, cool toys and helicopters. So great. Nothing I would want to think too hard about, but it gets an A+ sheerly based on spectacle.

So I've realized I scowl a lot. Especially when I'm coaching. Even if I'm happy or feeling good or whatever. Every picture almost that I can find of myself taking with my rowers or working, I've got a big fat scowl or a very serious look. So Friday night I went out for my first Sushi foray. I've had sushi, but never at a real sushi bar... mostly just the crappy grocery store california rolls.
