First Journal Post that no one shall read. ever.
This is my first post ever on LJ. I feel I should start off by saying something witty and eye catching. But unfortunately for you poor souls who have stumbled across my journal and can’t stop reading it (really, you probably have something better to do. Laundry? Or homework perhaps?). I am neither witty nor eye catching…
And really the only thing that comes across my mind on this momentous occasion is this: Why the fuck am I listening to Leonard Cohen?
I guess it’s just one of things, you know? One of life’s little mysteries, like socks that go missing in the dryer and underground civilizations of mole people.
Despite all that, I feel I should tell my non existing readers a little about myself. Apparently from my user pic and name one would think I am obsessed with Bleach. I am not going to deny it, I am fangirl…
But there is more to life than just Bleach *gasp* that’s right, there is also Hitman Reborn! Naruto, Soul Eater, Claymore, Loveless *coughshounen-aifancough* Kuroshitsuji, Black Lagoon, D. Grey Man, Manji Tantei Nougami Neuro, Full Metal Alchemist, and Harry Potter!
Seriously through, my life doesn’t revolve around manga and anime (as fun as that may sound). I do have other interests. I am a MASSIVE Quentin Tarantino and Mel Brooks fan and I will read anything and everything by C.S. Lewis. I am also a college student, majoring in being a professional college student for the rest of my life. Actually, I really don’t have my life figured out right now, so your guess is as good as mine as to what my major will be. I am bookworm and I love all things history, anything before the Manga Carta thank you. Oh, I do have this odd obsession with the history of organized crime (blame the overexposure to the movie The Godfather as a child). I love literature and politics (I am a moderate in case you are wondering). I also love having intelligent discussions about almost anything; I was in speech and debate during high school. I also have a love-hate relationship with English. I like to read as I said, but I hate grammar rules as you probably have surmised while reading this. Let’s see…as for music Flogging Molly and Gogol Bordello are pretty much the staples of my music pyramid. But I really like anything from Frank Sinatra to Metallica.
I also fancy myself a writer; it is a goal of mine to one day have this book I’ve been working on ever since I was 15 (22 now) published. It is a fantasy, wow who would’ve thought eh? And one day I would love for it to be considered an epic tale of adventure, war, love, and revenge. I am a huge fan of symbolism so there is a quite a bit of that in my work. Reading the Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter as a child has really influenced me.
Well, I think that pretty much summarizes me. You now know everything there is to know about me…of course not really! I mean a girl has to have her secrets, am I right? Anyways, let me be the first to congratulate you! You’ve made it to the end of my nonsensical ramblings! Hooray!
Well you’re probably thinking good riddance to this journal post and it’s over abundance of parentheses (there are quite a bit of them, aren’t there?) So, without further ado I shall bid thee good bye…’tis the end of this post…so quit reading… go on then, bugger off!
