TDK: Review * No spoilers
Caught the midnight show.... all I can say was that movie was AWESOME!!!
The movie has suspense, twists, turns, good dialogue, good action, surprises, and was just a good movie!
I thought everyone did a fantastic job and that the movie flowed well. Ledger's performance was iconic - he really blew me away.
I had my doubts about the batpod and kinda thought it was dumb when I first saw it - but how they introduced it in the movie made it cool.
They did a good job with showing that Batman was torn on how far he should go and that the Joker loved to push people and see what would happen. Different personalities but very similar creatures. Also loved Two Face.
Crowd was super into the movie, applauding after scenes and really getting into the chaos of it all - best kind of crowd to go with - the ones that are quiet when they should be :)
Loved the soundtrack but disappointed that the main theme music that was throughout the movie isn't really on the soundtrack - at least not in a big chunk anyway.
They did not show the tribute to Ledger at the end - guess that'll be on the dvd. I guess they only did that for the premiere.
Preview for Watchmen and Terminator:Salvation were awesome too - looking forward to those movies - there were about 10 previews but I only remember those two.......
