Morning post #4:
Ok, so last night, my brother and I went out to get the final touches for my AN'09 cosplays. The standings are now:
Captain Shinji: 90% (wig needs to be trimmed and sword needs to be made)
SSCOD: 50% (shoes, pants, cape, headpiece needed)
Vaizard Shinji: 85% (wig needs to be trimmed, same sword needed squish making Hollow mask)
For my brother:
Captain Kensei: 90% (hair needs colouring and knife needs to be made)
Vaizard Kensei: 90% (same as the first)
I'm very excited that everything's coming along so nicely. It seems like I still have hard work to do, what with two weapons to make, but that's honestly the easiest part for me. I love weaponmaking.
Other than that, I slept well last night but had to wake early to let the neighbour's dog out before work. She just has to have a quick pee, then back inside so I can get to work on time. I had time for that and a coffee run, so I have dericious coffee beside me. Angeal!muse is happy.
I had a nie talk with squish last night, so everything's okay on that front. Showed off Vaizard Shinji a little, though the wig's not cut, so I didn't have that on. It was fun anyway.
I think tonight, now that I don't have to run myself ragged looking for a grey trenchcoat for Vaizard Shinji (had one in the closet, stupid me), I'm going to do a little more work on the SSCOD. Incidentally, if I give up on it for AN'09, I'll just wear Musashi on Saturday(to mess with squish's muses. Yey, crack! Bankai!Ichigo raeping Musashi.) I might bring academy Shuuhei as well, because my Montreal friends haven't seen him yet and it's so damn comfy.
I haven't decided what candy I'm bringing this year, either. What suits Shinji, since he's my main muse for the weekend? He's silly, grinny and a little crazy. I'll have to think hard on it.
Anyway, back to the grind. Coffee in hand, I will survive these long working days! I will return home with the will to work on cosplays, a cheerful skip in my step and a smile on my face!
