And yeah, IMHO Sam would need to ask because Dean dropping bombshells didn't exactly work so well in S4. I love the concept though of what Dean went through having some actual benefit, even if Sam can't bring himself to ask just yet.
(Oh man, thank you for pointing that out! I'll definitely get that corrected right away.)

Though back on topic, thanks for the link! And YES Dean is v. v. much entitled to a bit of rage at that concept. Then again, one of my favorite concepts in stories is the pawn who makes it to the other side of the board and becomes a queen...
Not that Dean is a queen. But you know what I mean.

Love how utterly incompetant Cas is even when he's being smart. Seriously. He better be more useful in the future, or I will disown him. ;)

But they're getting better!
As for Castiel, well, "tact" is probably one of those small human things he's still working on. I'm pretty sure Stolas is smart enough to have placed some of those anti-angel glyphs from 4x15 about as well, so he's going the best he can with limited information. *g*

I really, really love that line. And this was awesome post-hell not talking about it talking about it. Thanks!

Either way, I can't wait to see what happens when his eyes are opened in S5 - I'm sure it will be a painful experience, both for him and for us as the audience to watch, but I'm equally certain that it's necessary.
