There are times when I think I should invest in Kleenex stock before the start of each auction. I swear I end up going through an entire box of tissues by myself mid-way through the event. The post-auction work is possibly more emotional for me.

I had no idea you were out of work! I'm so sorry to hear that :( All that stress of your own, and you're donating so much time and effort to help Stacie - you are an amazing person, and it's a privilege to be able to contribute in a small way to the cause that's so dear to your heart.

However... I am an employment counsellor (in Canada, but there are many commonalities with the US). I love you woman! You are awesome and wonderful and selfless, and amazing.

You already know how thrilled I am at this auction's success but It deserves repeating. This is absolutely AMAZING news and that new figure is incredible. I'm sitting her now, wishing I had some of that Kleenex you mentioned.

It's amazing what's possible when people come together like this. If I could, I would hug every single auction participant (writers, bidders and cheerers alike) and volunteer for their amazing contributions.
