First, today is the 197th anniversary of the publication of Pride & Prejudice! *throws confetti*

Next, I've been meaning to post this. My hubby got me a pop-up Doctor Who book for Christmas (it's HERE on the DW Wiki). It's an absolute scream! Here's one picture:

WOW! That book is AWESOME! I love it...

OOOOH! Makes grabby hands for video clip. Pookie is the BEST 7 year old EVER. (PS - tell her I'm going to school dressed as Cinderella tomorrow... in a PINK dress. (and one dress shoe, one sneaker lol) I bet she'll get a kick out of that! Yes, there will be pictures! :))

LMAO! They don't exist yet - I'll make sure I post them tomorrow once I'm home from my voice lesson. Should be earlier this week since I'm going at 4:30 instead of 5 so that I can practice a duet of Ladaumus Te with another student.

The occasion? Once a month we have a spirit day where the students don't have to wear their uniform and, in exchange for a donation to a charity (this month it's to Development and Peace for Haiti) they instead dress up according to a theme picked by the staff. This time it's "Fairy Tale Day" so everyone is dressing up as a fairy tale character. We've expanded it a bit to include any character in a book though. It should be fascinating to see what all the kids come as.

That sounds like so much fun! That dress-up for charity idea is awesome!

Oh, and I uploaded a video up above of me flipping through the book. Major excitement. Hehe!

ETA: In the video, you'll see that there's a notebook on the table above the book. I just realized what Pookie doodled all over that page. See if you can catch it. *g*
