He puts an emphasis on the word "philosophy" which is probably a bit of pun here. The word is made up of "bi" (beauty) and "gaku" (study). Chloe follows after grudgingly while thinking, "Not beautiful! Not beautiful at all!!"

Looks like Aya's taunting Chloe because the man doesn't wanna dirty himself up in the trash chute. XDD
