Hi Giovanna! I really like your entry. Especially how you said "Most of the conflicts in the play surround love, but it is not a love story per se, it has elements of love within it but this is for the audience’s amusement." These are my thought on the play exactly, and in a way, the love is the amusement. The characters in the play are so "head over heels" (to use the cliche)that they are almost unaware of their actions. This is shown in extreme by Titania's relationship with Bottom. She was blinded by the love (even if it was only produced by a potion) she felt for this grotesque being. and isn't this something we all do when we are in love. pick out the best bits and ignore the rest? hahahaha ( ... )
