T.S Eliot was caught up in the vanguard of the artistic movement known as Modernism. Eliot's work The Love Letter's of Alfred J. Prufrock begins with a passage from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, fromthe section where he writes about Hell. I love Dante's work and named my son after him.
