Congrats on the car, it is pwetty! I love the blue color. I have a dull boring ho hum silver colored car. (But everything else about it rocks, it is a Subary Outback station wagon that is the world's greatest mommymobile).

Best of luck negotiating the workplace politics. In an ideal world your store manager would concur with your region manager's decisions and be thrilled someone else in his store is going to learn more stuff that she can help him out with...but the world is not actually always that ideal. A raise is always nice though. :)

Argh, workplace politics. I think I hate them more than real politics. Ya, well my store manager has a problem with my area manager. It's a really complicated situation, but I'm glad I'm finally getting to learn things!
