It's thunderstorming.

I like Earth thunderstorms. I know they cause problems, but they're also beautiful to behold. And they're also necessary for life on this planet, or so I've read. I like that image - death and life all intertwined ( Read more... )

Mmmm, but that's a pretty story. ^_^ It's a nice thought, to give yourself completely to your lover like that, but it's a very hard thing to do in practice.

((Also, love, sorry I didn't get your message in time to do anything about it. *snuggles tight* Tell you what, there's a Star Wars exhibit going on from now 'til September 4th in Columbus. Think we can manage to match up our schedules?))

(Eh, it's okay, I took a day-long nap with my kitty. She kept me up all night, so I figured she owed me cuddles and sleep. :P

And yes yes yes! Probably closer to August. >_> Though I might actually be gainfully employed in August. I just have too much TIIIIIME on my hands right now! *flail*)

I think thunderstorms are amazing to watch, especially ones with lightning. I love to watch lightning especially...

But I hate being out in the rain. Heh.

Among the Decepticons there are tales of storm ghosts - Decepticons too in love with the skies to leave them even in death. Have you ever been out in a storm and noticed the way the static pulls on your external sensors? The superstitious describe it as feeling the storm ghosts inviting you to join them.

I can understand where the belief comes from. There are some things that should not be given up at any price... correct, Prime? *slight smile*

Huh. I wonder if those stories are any relation to ours.

There are some things that should not be given up at any price... correct, Prime? *slight smile*

Yet people do anyway. *smiles back, shrugging* I guess it depends on what you want and how badly.

Quite possibly, except that I think we consider it a rather less out of the way thing than Autobots do. Then again, we cling on to our sparks rather more desperately than you.

I guess it depends on what you want and how badly.

Or how badly it wants you. *strange, skewed smile*

*laughs* I suppose that's one way to look at it. We call it noble self-sacrifice, you call it not being dead - right?

Or how badly it wants you. *strange, skewed smile*

*pauses and thinks about that a moment*

...yeah. *heh* Hard to argue with that.

*slight nod* I've always enjoyed that one, even if it does apply to Autobots. And I suppose I can understand his mindview now.

*heh* Maybe it doesn't just apply to Autobots, then.

Just to Autobots and enlightened Decepticons who don't dismiss everything with a spot of red on it, I think.

//Yeah, but it's still fun. And you're never going to convince me, anyway.//
