*Rodimus Prime stands at the edge of one of Autobot City's top-level landing pads, fist raised level with his chest as if in salute. A panel on his forearm lifts away and he begins to speak, steady and strong

*approaches quietly, angling toward Rodimus; offers him and anyone else around him a polite bow before she speaks* Prime? I heard. *gaze flickers around and back to him* I want to help.
*flicker of a smile* *wry* Neither do I. *tilts head, gaze serious, and pauses before she speaks* I can look after myself, Rodimus. Let me stay with you and fight.
*for a moment, Basi might see a flicker of weariness in Rodimus's optics - he's feeling the weight of the universe settling on his shoulders again, his inescapable giri.*
*It passes quickly.* Well, you know your limits. I'm trusting you not to do anything heroic. *grin*
((Guess that means she didn't get unicorn'ed or something in the other thread... either that, or it wore off fast. Though I still think Screamer should be a "victim", when we get around to it... *heh* ))
*refolds wings and tosses head.. as if indignant* Yeah... sure. Whatever it takes.
(( Actually, that other thread sort of fizzled out. But if you want to make a new post for Screamer where I can have Warp interact there, we can still do that. ... Then he'll finally go back to being his seeker self. ))
"Well, if they all get to stay and play," Ravyn says, jerking her thumb in the direction of Spike, Daniel, Basi, and Moogle, "Then I imagine you're going to be needing a human style medic, just in case." She twirls a set of trauma shears around one finger and grins. "Luckily, I just happen to be one of those."
Basi glances toward the source of the voice, brows raised in slight surprise. She waits until the stranger-to-her finishes speaking. 'Thank you,' she says, and smiles slightly. 'I can do some healing of my own--' and she shoots an amused glance at Rodimus, '--which does not mean I'm hanging back. I'm better with offensive and support magic anyway.'
She pushes her hair back with one hand. 'I suppose I should go get a few things, speaking of which.'
Ravyn turns towards you and bows. "RavynFyre, at your service. Most folks call me Ravyn, 'hey you', and 'yo, psycho!' Take your pick, just don't call me late for dinner," she says with a laugh at the stupidity of the joke. "I hang out with Perceptor, and, on occassion, type for him when the VOX system is down. You're a magicker?"
Basi bows in return, her gesture faintly courtly. 'Basi de Rosa, of Eidol.' She half-grins. 'Pleased to meet you. And yeah, sorta. Can't do much on my own yet, but I have a nice collection of toys.' She pats the strap of her backpack, and glances around at the other humans. 'Don't have any problems with magic, do you? My healing's not much compared to a real medic, but it'll keep ya on your feet.'

Basi, it's going to be hard enough sending Autobots into battle. I don't want you to get hurt.
