*To avoid inter-faction complications, Rodimus is using his own shuttle to get back to Autobot City. Rather, he's borrowing a shuttle that the Dis 'borrowed' from some other unfortunate

Skyfire looks up from where he's pondering the rather eclectic collection of data that his partner dumped on him regarding the latest little problem.
// Greetings, and welcome home, Rodimus Prime! I don't know about smoothly, but no one has died and everyone's in good health at the moment--and I trust this will be a happier meeting than the first time we met. Land safely, Rodimus. //
// I would say you have been out of it, considering that I boarded the Dis and shuttled Perceptor, Wheeljack, Cureall and Wheelie home after your initial rescue. // His tone is gently chiding. // Given the condition everyone was in, however, the oversight is understandable. //
// Ah, give me five minutes to conclude things with Galvatron here and I'll escort you in. I believe my partner is seeing the other shuttle in. //
*after a little while, the comm system makes a couple of odd, staticky noises, rather like someone's either clearing their throat or fiddling rather inelegently with the radio settings.
A couple of minutes and a few wince-inducing squeaks later, a slightly tinny sound comes over the comm - and gets stronger and clearer as whoever it is on the other end gets the hang of the setup. There's a very strange sounding, twiddly introduction, then some rather familiar lyrics come through.*
I'd like to be, under the sea, in an octupus' garden in the shade...
*there's an audible grin in her tone as the music and lyrics quieten, 'Boots clearly moving the CD player away from the speaker with the odd bump and rustle* //What can I say, I thought you might need some company. Who better than the Beatles? ;)//
//I'd say 'You betcha', but I'm kinda stuck right now. *sounds of grumbling* Kaci made me take up guard duty outside the door of Drath's sidekick, and she even keeps calling me on the comm to make sure the bint hasn't escaped yet!//
Skyfire has just made his way through the busy corridors of Autobot City to a big enough outdoor space for him to transform and launch in pursuit of Jetstorm. There's just one problem: Jetstorm is nowhere in sight or sound or radar.
"How did he go to ground so quickly?" Skyfire wonders as he transforms and launches into the sky, circling above Autobot City, casting around for some sign of the wayward jet. Then he receives Rodimus's message.
"Damn. If he's gone, he's gone; I'll try contacting Auspex or Jetstorm after I see Rodimus safely home."
// On my way, Rodimus, // replies Skyfire. // Er, you haven't seen Jetstorm from up there, have you? He bolted with Auspex when Galvatron showed up. Something about the Warlord agitated him, and he's been a bit unstable lately. //
Another message, this one to Starscream: // Starscream, can you either escort Rodimus's shuttle down, or find Jetstorm? He's gone missing, and-- //
// No can do, Sky. I'm a bit busy right now, // Starscream replies in that tone of voice that means "I'm either

((Geez, you're fast. I was expecting a reply this evening at the earliest. XD))
...Jetstorm kidnapped Auspex?
*Clearly, there's some things Roddy needs to be caught up on more than others. He brings his scanners up to full power, sweeping the entire day side for some sign of Jetstorm.*
My scopes are clear, Skyfire, but I'll keep looking for him.
(( There are, however, various other contacts: the Decepticon shuttle with Scourge & Co. inbound to AC; Cyclonus halted in mid-air next to a Seeker or Aerialbot-sized contact; someone at ground-level running a powerful AWACS-grade radar; the usual Air Force patrols keeping an eye on you lot.... ))

//In this clunker, I'll be lucky if I don't scrap myself. Call the Brigade to scrape me off the landing pad!//

//...wait, what? "Smoothly" my ass. We had to go save the world from a freakin' runaway snowstorm while you were gone.//
It's somewhat difficult to tell if Blaze is making a joke out of it, or whether he's genuinely mad. It could be both.
