i think i should officially rename this journal as syris's lj since i seem to write more about my dog's trials and tribulations than my own

Poor Syris;was he born on a tuesday? I have to say that I admire his spirit. As I remember it, he doesn't let much get him down. Its like he's accepted his lot in life and decided to be happy anyway. He will be fine and you are a good dog momma.
thank you. i was a bit shaken when i wrote this since it had just happened. he seems to be doing better, limping a bit. funny though, over time he's turned into much more of a worrier than when you lived with him. he's a bit more cautious and emotional, if you can imagine that. have a good holiday. will you be back in montana?
No Montana for me this Christmas. The in-laws are coming here and I'm making quail and doing yoga to celebrate the holiday. They offer a class here that starts at 10:30 pm New Year's Eve and ends at midnight. I'm looking forward to starting 2007 centered and sober.
i know, i thought of you when it happened. while i totally understood you not liking them i felt like it was a bit harsh to generalize an entire breed of dog. but i've changed my mind, turned over a new leaf if you will. and now i'm in your same boat of despite.
what other kind of dog is known for snapping like that? turning into an evil monster for no reason? they should be annihilated. (whoah, that's pretty evil, but someone hurt my baby and the only thing worse than a woman scorned is a mother who's baby's been fucked with)
that's what i used to think. my friend had a pit bull that syris used to play with and all was fine. my friend knew his dog and watched him and could tell if he would get weird and it was always a good experience, which is why i wasn't anti all pit bulls. but, this pit bull that attacked syris is a very very nice dog. she's adorable and friendly to humans. the owner has had her since she was a baby and knows her quirks quite well. i think he is a good owner. when syris and this dog met, tails were wagging and sniffing commenced and all was fine but out of nowhere this dog snapped. there were no signs. at the moment i thought playing would ensue, mutiny began. all i know is that i'm protective of my dog as i think most dog owners are and i don't know any other dog that snaps like that. therefor, syris will not be meeting anymore pit bulls. while i've always believed that there were no such thing as bad dogs, only bad owners, my opinion is beginning to change.
