my history/why I ship it: Alex and Skippy have some of the best scenes together throughout the whole run of Family Ties - the shipping just sort of had to happen eventually.
headcanon: Skippy actually gets very serious when Alex is having one of his breakdown moments and knows how to calm him down, despite his horrible stigma of being clueless to everything.

Damian McGinty/Cameron Mitchell [The Glee Project]
my history/why I ship it: Cameron and Damian just kind of fell in love and as you watched The Glee Project you could just watch it happen, like when Cameron was almost sent home and Damian like, cried in the egg shaped chair, or when Cameron angsted about Damian possibly going home, and it was just something that you could watch grow.
headcanon: Cameron's actually super angsty about being gay conflicting with his strong religious beliefs.

my history/why I ship it: This is all Ramona's fault, really, because I wasn't going to get into them until she and Lucy convinced me, and now there's just no turning back. The whole band is gay as anything, but there's just something different about Harry and Louis: how they act around each other, how they talk to each other, how they look at each other when the camera's not focused on them. It's sort of breathtaking, in a way? I Also, Louis is Peter Pan. That's a thing that happened.
headcanon: they're either together (and in the biggest amount of love you can imagine) currently or they're those people who tried to be together but just couldn't do it and were better off as friends and now they just giggle about it and occasionally kiss for old time's sake.

my history/why I ship it: I is another thing that I'll blame Ramona for this entirely, because when I started watching Paranormal State it was with interest in the cases rather than the people, until she told me to check out Ryan and Serg and then I did and they were best friends who were obviously in love- and then I bought Ryan's book, and I'm telling you, it's all actually just fic. He goes into detail about what Sergey wears, what he says, how he's there for all his important life moments- also, then have a house and a dog together. Just saying.
headcanon: Sergey is the first to apologize to people when Ryan's an asshole to them, or at least comes off as one, but he's also the first to jump to his defense, no matter what the situation, even if it's a priest or a friend or a demon or something.

my history/why I ship it: Their entire relationship is based on banter and fighting and I swear to you, it's just UST and it's lovely. Also no one else seems to ship it and it makes me horribly sad because there's a lot of potential, I swear.
headcanon: Sally is actually just Anderson's best friend who he complains to about Sherlock and she's always "Just ignore him, dunno what you see in the freak anyway." and Anderson chides her for calling him a freak because only he's allowed to do that before he flops back onto his bed and just sighs sort of dreamily and frustratedly. (read: Anderson is a teenage girl)

my history/why I ship it: their relationship gives me feelings, and I'm not entirely sure I can articulate everything I feel about this ship, aside from the fact that they need each other and as many times as John says he's not gay, the show will always disagree. Always.
headcanon: John visits Sherlock's grave every evening, rain or shine, and tells him about the cases Lestrade's been getting, how annoying Sally was today, the ridiculous things Anderson said, how Mrs. Hudson is shaping up. Sherlock realizes John has this pattern and hides nearby (in disguise, obviously) and listens, just so he can hear John's voice.

my history/why I ship it: I dragged my friend along to see TSN on the day it came out because I was really interested in a movie about facebook, and I remember being in the theater, watching the movie (aside from the couple hundred times I had to explain to my friend what was going on), thinking "Wow, people are going to ship these two like mad." and ho ho, look at the beautiful fandom they have now.
headcanon: Chris is Eduardo's gay mentor- as in, long after the depositions and lawsuits and reconciliation and Eduardo realizes he's got feeling for Mark, Chris suddenly becomes forcibly involved in their lives. Eduardo calls him drunk and freaking out, texts him from the bathroom of their first date, leaves him a post-coital voicemail, all that jazz.

my history/why I ship it: well, this was one of the ships that started it all, now wasn't it? This was the ship that got me involved with #y_slash at all, which in its own led to a series of very strange and very (for the most part) good things. I ship it because they're best friends and two blokes who bought a house together, also Alex seems to bring out the best in Charlie which is nice.
headcanon: when they first started talking, after meeting through youtube, Alex kept having to reassure Charlie that he wasn't gay, because sometimes he'd just text him good morning for the hell of it, or intermidant "I love you"s throughout the day, and Charlie could never figure out a way to properly ask if Alex was gay or not, so sometimes Alex's texts would just be "I love you- I'm not gay.", just to clear up everything. (and then it was hilarious when he finally told Charlie that maybe he might be gay, and Charlie just shook his head and smiled.)
