Overland is a type of travel, not a company. It means traveling well, overland, usually in a big rig like a converted truck. It means living in the truck, camping, sort of a mobile community and all the good and bad that comes with it. There isn't an option to hook up for a day or two, the shortest you can join is for a few weeks, most people join for a few months. But yes, Dragoman is great. After I'm done with all this I'm working on a general "overlanding" article I'll post here :)

Yeah, it's sometimes a hard lesson. It's not easy, let me tell you. There were wonderful people on the trip, but it's sort of like having 14 room mates in a one room apartment. There was time I wanted to murder individuals for not doing their dishes or whining about the food.

But in the end, it's that kind of stuff that makes you stronger and often builds lifetime friendships.

Wow! You are making me want to go there, like, yesterday. I would LOVE to be running on that trail in the fourth picture.

That was the one flat part. The rest was so steep and slick and rocky I fell on my ass just hiking down it . . .
