Annie, Troy, and Abed -- it's Annie's birthday!

"Well," Annie said. "What do you have to say for yourselves?"

Her arms were crossed and Troy hoped that she didn't notice what that did to her cleavage.

"...sorry?" Troy offered. He tried smiling and offering her the only cupcake that didn't smell like gasoline.

Annie narrowed her eyes and then, inexplicably, began to cry. Abed looked at Troy for a moment and widened his eyes.

Hug her, Abed said with his eyes.

Troy hugged her, wrapping her up in his arms and then he felt Abed reach out and wrap them both up in a hug.

"We'll do better next year," Abed said. After a moment he said in a monotone, "Jeremy Renner and ice cream?"

So it started as a photo op, meeting firefighters and playacting for MSG and a Times reporter that was tagging along. It started with wearing all the heavy gear and then saying things like, "Wow, this is heavy" and other things that made them sound nice and supportive of firefighters.

That's how it started and when Dan turned around and winked, his shoulders pulled back from all the heavy gear, Ryan felt his whole face heat.

He looked away, but Dan must have seen enough, because the next time they were alone, he opened the bathroom door and said, "So, firemen?" and he was wearing just the pants and the long loose coat, open, and the suspenders over a skintight white cotton shirt.

Ryan licked his lips and said, "Yeah."

Molly raised her eyebrows and said, "Kinky?"

"I can explain," John said.

Molly looks at him, gives him that wry look that makes him blush and now is not the time to realize that his affection for her has grown into a crush and maybe more than that.

"Sherlock?" he tries. It's the truth.

Her lips twist up into a full grown grin. "He'll do that. I'll get a pair of scissors."

Because it's easier to admit to her back, he says, "I'm also in a full body latex suit under."

Her shoulders begin to shake.

There's bacon, of course, every diner all across America, and Dean goes for pork only because he's picky and also because he realized young that there wasn't any time to waste in their line of work.

There's also oatmeal, which Sam eats with a religious zeal and puts in only low fat or soy (preferable) milk.

There's comfort foods of biscuits and gravy and there's things that they try because they're in that part of the country like crepes and avocado omlettes.

They find a diner in New Jersey that sells Captain Crunch french toast and Dean makes up cases to get them back there every time he gets a craving.

There's never any home cooked meals, there's only breakfast after breakfast with strangers.

I know, right? They're adorable! But the dad needs a boyfriend. I like to imagine that the woman at the end of the second one is his BFF or sister or something (but this is probably because I find the dad really hot, and men with working sperm and good parental instincts are super hot).
