I CRIED SO HARD. LIKE. STARTING A HALF HOUR IN. I don't even know man. I wonder if the mixed reaction is in part because it's such a PARTICULAR relationship between a mom and daughter, and if you're not either, some of it just doesn't hit with the same strength?

YES. I mean, I think so much of it was recognizing myself and my mom in that relationship, but it was also just that good.

Yeah, I cried too, which is par for the course with Pixar, but it was so NICE to see a girl and her MOM on an adventure.

YES. That was my favorite part. It wasn't Merida and her dad, it was Merida and her MOM and they had an ADVENTURE and SAVED THE KINGDOM.
