Typical

Nov 27, 2007 23:05

I don't get it.  I don't think of myself as a typical girl.  In so many ways, I'm not, y'know?

No, really!

I like foosball.  Love to drive -- manual transmission, of course.  I like gear and gadgets.  My power drill, and putting together furniture with it, bring me joy.

So why...

Why am I totally in love...

...with Agent Seeley Booth?

He has a vulnerability that shows through. That's why I think he's attractive. Did you see last night's episode? Whoa! I think the show is going in a new direction!

We are more alike than you know. I didn't know you liked manual transmissions. Did you know when I bought my last car I searched online to find a Toyota Camry with a manual transmission? They're rare. No wimpy automatics for me. I like to have the car move when I stomp the accelerator in a touchy situation. Automatics just whir their engine which isn't much help if someone is about to slam into you.

I love power tools, too. I have a nice little collection. When we need woodworking done around here, I do it. If we need electronics soldering Eric does that with his tiny little tools. Other house repairs are traded off between us.

I was telling Eric about your post and my reply (which made him chuckle) and he wants me to ask you if your photos from your trip are available in hi-res. We both really love your photos! He says he'll be more than happy to pay you any costs involved. Don't worry about him using them in anything. He just loves to look at photos. He's too lazy anyway to do anything with our photos much less anyone else's. teehee!

Have you thought about creating calendars on cafepress.com or somewhere with your photos? They're definitely professional quality.

Aww, thank you! I would be glad to share high res photos with you guys. Email me at ckealey at gmail.

I've never thought about creating calendars, but I do definitely want to get some prints made for myself at some point. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Must be those hulking shoulders and chiseled chin.

The hulking shoulders and chiseled chin don't hurt, but the puppy-dog eyes and crooked smile get me more. It's the character that I really like, though, not the actor. I didn't have a thing for him when he was Angel.

I had to read the comments to figure out this was a reference to that Bones show that I've never seen. That is the show right? I just know Angel is on it. =)

A typical girl around these parts doesn't really mean much because honestly most aren't typical in the broader sense. For SF they're all typical, but get an hour or two outside the bay and...

Yep. A bunch of cute geeks and dead bodies and bugs and spores and bones. I heart Bones.

Hey, waitaminnit, are you saying I *am* just another typical girl? You watch it, you... :P
