“Nice lyrics, Craig.” Craig turned to see Ashley compliment him. He felt hope in his heart, a strong soaring kind of hope.
He smiled at her. Did this mean that there was a chance he could be forgiven? He had grown up over the mistakes he’d made with Ashley. He watched her walk off with Ellie, down the hallway.
The guys were busy discussing what their future as musicians would be like. Rock stars. Fast cars, cute girls. Craig wanted all of this too, but he wanted something else.
From the looks of things, he would be getting it too.
