This is in reference to
lovelyafterglow 's question
here So, what has PepSi meant to you?
I stumbled across PepSi on Youtube (where else?) while I was looking for clips of The L Word last year, around May time (a little too late, I know!). It was the
parking lot scene, at first I didn't think much of it because it was in Spanish and there were no subtitles. I was ready to watch a different video, when all of a sudden the sexy time started. I was immediatley blown away! I thought to myself "Fuck!! This is beezer stuff! I have to find out more about this show!" Until Curtis interupted them! (Damn you Pina!)
From then on, I was hooked. There was something different about them that I've never witnessed before with a on-screen lesbian couple. I still to this day, can't exactly pin point what it is with this couple. They're just truly a unique couple.
From then on, I was introduced to
PepSienglish, Introduced to the amazing actresses who played our favorite duo, and of course the
LJ PepSi community.
What aspects of the show did you like best? Which do you think were the worst?
The on-screen chemistry between Pepa and Silva - BEEZER!
The humour. Something you see too often in cop shows.
The wacky family relationships ( Lucas is the ex-husband of Silvia, who is now in a lesbian relationship with her sister-in-law Pepa, who is the auntie of Sara, who is married to Lucas!! That was mind- boggling!)
Silvia's facial expressions.
Silvia's hair (I wonder what shampoo she uses? Herbal Essences maybe?)
Pepa as a bad ass - take no shit - I'm a hot motherfucking cop! Hell yeah!
Undercover missions - where it involves acting like a stripper. I don't think you'll see that in Law & Order: Special victims unit any time soon.
Worst? Hmmm... Silvia dying, and of course the whole 'Pepa is a lesbian, but she sleeps with men' thing! A low blow from ATPP.
What will you remember most?
There's too much to mention. From the introduction of Pepa, to the moment where Pepa and Silvia walking down the aisle.
Share your thoughts on PepSi (or LHDP in general) and your experiences in the fandom.
Fandom is what keeps me sane. And through fandom, I've met some truly amazing people. :) It's the only place where Alex Pina can't fuck up storylines! So please don't let the fanfics dry up!
