YAY, I finally finished this over the weekend. I kind of really love it. Whee. Yes, I'll say straight up there's a lot of Aeryn, and a lot of John/Aeryn, because I am nothing if not incredibly biased. But, most everyone else is in there too. (No repeats! Yes!)
Samples
You'll need a paid account and your own webspace to use this theme. (There are those of you (and you probably know who you are) that I'll host this for if you ask nice.) Download the
zip file that has all the pics and the code file, etc.
1. Download the aforementioned zip file.
2. Unzip the file, then upload all pics to your site. You should probably create a directory titled "Farscape" or something similar.
3. Open the text file and paste it into Word or another text editor. Do a find/replace of the URLs to whatever the name of your domain/hosting site is. (Photobucket is a great free webhost, if you need one.)
4. Go to the
Admin Console. Enter:
moodtheme_create "girlfromsouth's Farscape Theme" "Farscape Moods"
and click "Execute." Write down the ID# they give you (i.e. "53026"), because you'll need it later.
5. Go back to the text file. Do a find/replace "53026" with the # that LJ assigned to your mood set. Then copy all this info and paste it into the box on the admin console.
6. Select the Farscape theme from your moodlist. Ta-da!
Apparently, LJ has some nifty new feature called a Custom Mood Editor or somesuch, but as I know nothing about it, or how to use it, I'm afraid you're on your own if you want to do it that way.
If you decide to use it please leave a comment just 'cause I like to know where it's going, and credit is always nice of course, because I'm an attention whore.
