No, I don't think that is possible .......... If they even tried, it would probably cause a rather nasty space-time implosion .....

Have we ever -- in this era, not in a flashback -- seen Simon Voltaire's legs and feet? He doesn't seem to have any in this panel.

From the odd proportions of his feet and head to his arms and torso, I suspect that all that's left of him is his head and hands. Underneath the clothing there's just mechanical scaffolding and life-support equipment.

Which leads to some decidedly odd mental images regarding the conception of Colette and all her siblings and cousins ...
