BACKSTABBER!

Does this weapon of Beausoleil's have any particular properties? It looks like a glowing gem may be either emitting or absorbing energy to/from Master Voltaire. He's always been about knowing the Master's secrets, maybe this is his overhanded(see how he stabs?) way of getting them?

Colette may have to put him down--with extreme prejudice.

The glowing "gem," if you look at it closely, is a trilobite. So apparently this is a Heterodyne sword... and my guess is that he's trying to frame Agatha, though to what end I don't know, and whether anyone will buy it remains to be seen. I don't *think* Colette will believe it, but she may be shouted down and/or deposed for being Agatha's friend.

To what extent this treachery plays into Zola's plans, of course, also remains to be seen, as does the effect of the wild cards of Tarvek, Gil, Larana & Co., Higgs and Vole, and (potentially) an Andy-possessed Tweedle.

This really seems to play right along with that, given that he seemed to be along with whomever was setting the hive engines..... which seems likely as not her....

It does seem that way, and I'm sure she will at least take shameless advantage of it. The main question mark regarding whether she's (still) working with Lunevka, who seems most likely to be the main entity behind Beausoleil's defection and might be the Lu with whom Zardilev and Madwa are working, is her willingness to sacrifice the Geisters with the attack on Grandmother's party. Zola, we know, is pretty cavalier about such things, but is Lucrezia?

Great,I thought that S.O.B. was dead.
Now all he has to do is Yell : "The HETRODYNE has KILLED THE MASTER!!!!!"
Part of me Hopes Collette saw him do the dreadful deed, Part of me hopes she didn't yet believes Agatha wouldn't do such a thing. Still I'd love to see Agatha zap him with her DEATH RAY.

"Him." Which him? Is this Beausoleil's real body, or one of his simulacra?

I'm figuring Beausoleil is one of the intruders in the city systems, which means even destroying *all* of his simulacra won't do any good, at least at this point.

I am curious where his daughter is at this point. I would have figured her to be close by her father if his pre-stabbed self was close to dying.

One notes he's Not Dead Yet.

perhaps just for drama, but he may be able to act one last time before death.

Of COURSE, Agatha gets framed.

One would hope, that after the time they've spent together, Collette wouldn't believe it, but...
